What is navajo nation flag?

The Navajo Nation flag was officially adopted on May 21, 1968. The flag features a dark blue field with a map of the Navajo Nation in the center. The map is surrounded by four mountains representing the four sacred mountains of the Navajo people (Mount Blanca, Mount Taylor, Mount Hesperus, and Mount Humphreys). There are also four feathers representing the Navajo people. The flag is symbolic of the Navajo people's connection to their land, culture, and traditions. It is flown at government buildings, schools, and other important locations throughout the Navajo Nation.
